Seller Listing Limit

I am trying to add new and improved products to our product list but a message keeps popping up telling me that we have reached our seller limit. When I look to see what our limit is it says 660 items per month OR $96,000 in sales per month. But, when I go to our dashboard it says that I have 9 free listings left in the month of April and it regenerates once every month, but it does not allow me to add the amount of free listings that it tells me I can. Does anyone know how they calcualte the "660 items per month" or whatever? Because we only sell 76 items. And if it shows I have 9 free listings left in Arpil, why won't it let me add the new 9 products? I have called eBay twice and cannot get in touch with a real person nor can I locate an email or chat room option.

I believe "660 items or $96,000" means you are limited as soon as you each either of those thresholds.

And are you sure the $96,000 limit applies to sales and not to the amount it is listed for?

Re: Seller Listing Limit

If you’ve reached your monthly seller limits, you can’t list anything else this month. Free listings and your monthly selling limits are 2 separate things. All sellers get up to 50 free listings a month but if your selling limit is 10 items/$1000 for example then you can’t lost 50 items. You can list up to 10 items and your total monthly sales can be up to $1k. Your total monthly sales limit is $96k so if you’ve reached that limit then you can’t list anything else this month.

Re: Seller Listing Limit

Everything we have listed is less that $150 or so, and it's still only 76 items. I'm not sure why it won't let me add anymore if I haven't reached the 660 items mark or the $96k mark. And I still have 9 free listings left over and it won't let me use them. I'm just confused on all of this.

Re: Seller Listing Limit

Do they count the quantity of an item into the $96k limit?

Yes, they do.  If you have an item that sells for $100 and you enter a "Quantity available" of 50, that counts as $5000 towards your listing limit.  It's a limit on the total value of what you can list.

Re: Seller Listing Limit

Yes the quantities count.
1 listing with a quantity of 10 widgets at $1,000.00 each = $10,000.00 against your monthly selling limits.
