I ran into this in the Seller Center just now (I was looking for something else)
https://pages.ebay.com/seller-center/seller-boot-camp.html
"Get 4 weeks of free online training on how to run a profitable business. The first lesson starts March 5!"
Whatcha think all?

Lets have a talk... but don't talk to me...

Excellent point on the relative seller number (community visitors vs. total)
Whatever .0000008% +/- they get to participate, the Boot Camp is reduced to a dog and pony show. The impact would be statistically meaningless.
Another point to ponder...it's NOT on the Announcement Board. You either stumble over it, or you don't.
Like gramophone likes to point out...this is a LH RH operation.
Good point ... I would venture a guess that EVERY member got the eBay Message about Adyen Payment Processors ...
Certain things should be messaged to all members rather then the way many things are handled now.

But ebay in the help pages often says ask the community, but dang, they hide us well.

Exactly, but I've seen quite a few replies to new Sellers where the "at" symbol has not been used ... then there are some specific headings on The Community where members specifically don't use it ... I used it once on a thread and was asked not to ever do that again! I had to laugh when that happened ... what was that old quote, "Well EXCUSE ME for breathing YOUR AIR!" ...
You have to be kidding.

@lookng2015 No, not kidding at all ...

I registered and here we are, March 5 and no mail this morning as promised. Another ebay disappointment experience...

Someone asked about the emails on the Ebay For Business Facebook page and were told the emails will go out this afternoon. I'm guessing that would be a California afternoon.

Ebay suggested it. Sellers were far from pleased or happy about it. I will spare you the comments.

On another thread, a poster has said that she was told that the Boot Camp had been cancelled.

I see that, although that news was reported to have come from Customer Service, after CS first claimed no knowledge of what it was in the first place, so I would be inclined to wait for something more, ah, official to come along before declaring it DOA.
I agree, though, that level of turnout aside, they probably had some big concerns about whether any of the associated "camp" discussion groups would simply deteriorate into complaining sessions.

Interesting. Thanks for the link!
Low numbers of sellers signing up? Ha! OK, sure.
Maybe like low numbers of sales of the larger ebay boxes and cubes? *SMH*
Deja vu ebay seller style!

Even though the news is clearly hearsay, it seemed worth sharing so that others might be able to check and confirm. I've been waiting around at my desk for hours but I've gotta go run errands, so I can't be dealing with a long CS call wait right now and was hoping that others might have had more info.
And I concur: complaints were rife and rampant. The negative comments outweighed the positive ones by about 90%.
I was actually hoping to be able to get something out of the Boot Camp if I kept an open mind; however, I was aware that it could just be indoctrination for the Spring Updates. You can never tell until you go see, and I was willing to go see.
