Sell multiples of an item

I have 14 of an item. I wish to sell as a lot of 3 and buyer could buy anywhere from 1 to 11 more. Can I do this?  If so How?

With 14 items, how can you sell in lots of 3 from 1-11?  That math doesn't work out.

If you have 14 lots of 3, that's a different story.  Make sure your listing and pictures are clear about quantity because your description here is not clear.  Set up the listing with total quantity and the listing should read it is for a group of 3.

Yeah, I didn’t see the math working either. Therefore I don’t have a solution.

Re: Sell multiples of an item

First, figure out the optimal number of widgets relative to shipping, such as how many can combine to ship in a first class package or how many can fit into a Regional A box, etc.  Then list with multiple quantities of however how many economically ship together.  You have the  option to offer a volume discount if they purchase more than one set, but keep track of the anticipated shipping costs relative to the volume discount offered.  And be sure to reiterate in both the title, the condition box, and in the description just how many widgets the buyer is purchasing per set because people these days are just plain stupid and do not read as they once did and their brains are being rewired differently by the imagery of the Internet and they often are divorced from reality and will believe in any nonsense.  If you have one or two widgets left over then create a separate listing for those.

@repairir , your proposal is very confusing, as you can see from the replies you have received so far.

As I understand it, you want to allow buyers to purchase as many as they want, except that there will be a minimum purchase of 3 items. If that's correct, then the answer is: No. There's no way to do that.

If you are selling items individually, then you can't require a buyer to purchase a minimum number of the items. You can offer a discount if buyer purchases multiple items, using Volume Pricing. That's about the closest you can get to requiring a minimum purchase.
