Hello,
I need to know if anybody else is seeing the Sell Similar Photo Bug that is plaguing me.
When I use "Sell Similar" to list, in this case, NIKE POSTERS, the item itself has the correct photos, but the eBay Search Results still show the photo of the parent listing.
If you search completed listings for item #142569996405 and then actually open the listing, you will see what I mean about the search photo being wrong.
To make matters worse, when somebody buys the "Sell Similar" poster the buyer confirmations emails also show the WRONG photo. I had two customers in the same day contact me because they were concerned that they had bought the wrong photo. One of the buyers ended up cancelling the order, because they were "Uncomfortable" with the explanation and didn't have time to call eBay Customer Support to confirm my story.
With everything that eBay says they are doing to IMPROVE THE BUYER'S EXPERIENCE, this would be low hanging fruit they the refuse to pick.
I've reported this bug to eBay at least half a dozen times over the last 6 months and it seems like nobody cares. Their work around, quit using the "Sell Similar" function.
PLEASE . . . PLEASE, can other Seller's check and see if the "Sell Similar" function is doing the same thing to their listings. Unless you are actually checking the search results for your "Sell Similiar" Items; like I did, you would never know there is a bug; because, the photo in my ImaPaqRat eBay store search results are correct.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this and please reply if you also see this issue. {I can't believe eBay would create a bug that is "Seller Specific".}
I Hope You've Had An Extraordinary 2018!
Sincerely,
Bruce "ImaPaqRat" Fisher

Yes, I can see it: Are you overwriting the photo's or deleting them and then uploading?

Sell similar (and revise) have a persistent design flaw which allows it to use random stuff from the original listing even after it has been changed.
If you detect it, you can eventually get it to change by using revision.
The defect is made worse by problematic internet connection. Of course, ebay programmers seldom encounter problematic internet connections, and thus never see the behavior.

As others have said - try revising it - or better yet - open up another screen and just do a brand new listing - a lot easier than sitting on the phone with CS.

I've had the same issues with title as @ymeagainlord. I have not had the photo issues that @imapaqrat has. This is what I did to fix the problem: create templates. It's a PITA but once they're done it's easy to list using the template instead of sell similar.
