An afterthought (and I hope you're checking back on your thread)... you posted that you're "unavailable to sell", so we don't know that you'll be doing other eBay duties during this time.
Know that you (at least) need to check your Seller Hub occasionally/daily(?) during your absence, because claims can still be made by your recent buyers (as they have the 30-day MBG) and you don't want those to go unattended. eBay protects you from selling, proper... but will expect your input when/where it is necessary. Case timelines don't allow for your absence, as time marches on.

You need to put your listings on Time Away. I'd also recommend that you hide them for such a lengthy absence. Godspeed.

Your potential buyers will most likely NOT see this note here in this community.
It would be better to add that message to your listings or cancel them completely, if possible.
Best wishes.

This is a community discussion forum for buyers and sellers. You might want to post this on your site and use the Time away option.

this is a general discussion board, where your message will not be seen by your prospective buyers. You need to set up the "Time away" option, which can hide your listings to prevent sales to buyers who might get impatient with a two-week wait for shipping. Here's how to use Time Away:

EBay has millions of users. The chance any potential buyer of yours would see this is infinitesimal. That’s not the way EBay works. You need to put your listings on time away. Not following protocol leaves you vulnerable to INR claims and possibly some serious damage to your account. If you don’t know how to work your way through the eBay maze, you can always Google “EBay time away”. That works every time.

I’ve been in the hospital 🏥 since September 19th for a knee replacement surgery operation, most painful thing I ever could imagine. Times couldn’t stand the pain wanted to go…leave here this planet. On top of the surgery I got came down with a vile putrid rash after being here in hospital 7 days all over my body. Itchy, red, angry. Still not gone away.
Ended all my eBay sales as last thing to think about now is business. I will survive!
Watching Yankee game right now helps me think about Yankee Stadium baseball & my childhood love of baseball although I’m a Mets fan. Mets game tonight. Let’s go Mets!
Good luck fellow eBayers with all your wonderful current sales. From my bed…

Cancel all auctions now.
Then use time away to hide all buy it now listings 5 days before you will be unavailable. The reason for the 5 days is to handle any late or non-payers before you go.

Hope you get to feeling better. My 93 year old mother had knee surgery last year. She recovered very quickly. Time heals. Take care. Looking forward to all the fall pictures you'll be posting from NYC.
All the best.

Sending best wishes for healing and a complete recovery! Sounds like a horrible experience you've been through. 💚
