I recently had to cancel an order becasue the winning bidder didnt want to pay, which is a little bit annoying but fine I can handle it.
Now that the cancellation has gone through im trying to make a second chance offers to some of the bidders that lost, but whenever i try to send it i get the message
"Unknown system error
An error occurred when processing the request."
I've tried to do it on 2 different computers on 4 different browser and i get the same message every time. I want to now what the h3ll is causing this message and if there is anything i can do???
Because its only a matter of time before the bidders find something else to buy and i have to list for auction again

I think i just figured it out, and if I'm correct it means that its because eBay is stupid.
I just tried to relist the item to try to sell it , but couldn't because it would go over my monthly selling limit.
When i listed the auction i reached my seller limit and when i try to do it again it would technically be a new listing that goes over my selling even though the item never "sold".
And since you only get back what you used from your selling limit once the item is actually sent to the buyer I will have to wait until i can list again

" im trying to make a second chance offers to some of the bidders that lost"
When you send a Second Chance Offer to an underbidder, eBay creates a new listing which is identical to the original auction, except that it's a fixed price listing with the price set at that underbidder's maximum bid. If you send out two SCOs, you are creating two new fixed price listings, and they both could sell. So this error is probably eBay's way of protecting you against overselling. Try sending just one offer.

But if a bidder has opted out of receiving offers, usually their ID just won't show up on the list of who the seller can choose to send offers to.

That is what I assumed aswell. From what ebay says, only people that have it enabled are visible when choosing who to send to

Does that mean I’d have to wait until my seller’s limit has decreased next month? I’m a bit lost.

I sold an item and have another and in the drop down there was no option for a SCO, however, when I clicked on the item and bid history there was an option to send a SCO to the 2nd highest bidder. Hope that helps

I’m still a little lost lol. So is there a way to do the SCO without having to wait for your monthly limits to reset?

That's absolutely ridiculous! Surely eBay support can fix this issue... Getting so many fake buyers, its almost god **bleep** pointless to sell anything here on eBay.
