So I recently sold an item on eBay when the buyer received it he complains of damage then send me pictures of the damage when I downloaded the pictures they oddly went back in time in my gallery so I looked at the photograph details and it shows that the picture he sent me was taken July of 2016 that got my attention so I requested that he send me a picture of an inscription on the item that I sent him he did and today's date was in the details so????
Any advice because we all know Sellers lose disputes

I had a watch as a child,
But Grandfather taught me to tell time by the sun and moon.
I never have worn a watch, or rings, or anything else, after that.
But now that I am old... I am thinking about a sea shell ear ring.

Sock, we are of the exact same age.
And this Sunday it will go up by 1.
It is just a number, at least that is what I keep repeating over and over to myself.

Useless, the package was delivered and it doesn't sound like this has anything to do with damage in transit.
The OP seems obsessed with date stamps, they should have made more effort with the description (the pics are ok).

By they I meant I and no insurance I had to eat it all yeah it cool that you guys make jokes and I know date and time can be manipulated but wouldnt you be suspicious if someone sent you a pic of damage. From last year and then a pic of your serial # from yesterday I would assume most people use the same camera within a 24 hr period so the date stamp should be wrong on both

Okay, maybe things are getting a little clearer now. What you're saying is that you think the seller used an old photo from 2016 of damage to some other item, and that when you asked for a photo of a unique feature on your item, which he provided, you then saw a different photo date. Is that right?
It's certainly possible that the buyer might have noticed the date problem and fixed it in between the first photo session and the second, but in other words, you don't recognize the damaged item in the first photo as being yours?

Who is who here... you both seem to sell high end camera lenses ?
I use a 1990's Sony Mavica, great little camera, but I have no clue how to change the date.
( the date thing was turned off when I got it, cool by me )
If the little date and time battery went dead, it would default to the year of mfg.
I had this happen with a computer one time, it forgot who it was.
And that is all we are saying, time stamps get messed up.
And most don't use them in the first place.
