Scamming Buyer

I recently sold an item that was stated “used” and good for “parts only”. It was made extremely clear in my my listing and description that the item did not work with software, did not work with anything and was clearly good for parts only. I placed it on an auction where the postage price and description was more than clear. A buyer won the bid, I then sent the item out packed extremely well, after exiting the item he starts demanding money for postage back when he was more than well aware of all prices before even placing a bid, I replied that I wouldn’t not give full or partial refund as he was aware. He then opened a case with Ebay stating “item not as described”, which was complete and utter rubbish! He actually wrote in several messages I had stated the item was in good condition which it was not in any way shape or form and I made that EXTREMELY clear in the listing, I rung eBay numerous times yet they can’t do anything and within minutes of him escalating the case he automatically won (NOT FAIR) sellers do not get to fight their corner, I have now been told to wait till I get the item back, but this scammer has clearly done it before. What if he sends me an empty box, this is all unnecessary stress that’s not needed because of a disgusting frauding scammer and I think the way eBay respond is disgusting.

This will only get worse as time progress. Even the most low-level criminal will want to game the system considering how easy it is to scam. It's close to zero risk stealing from sellers on this site and oh boy is it easy. Just a few clicks, wait a little while and the money has been returned.. not a thing the seller can do about it either.

Its like it's not even human beings inventing these rules.. like they operate in a completely different reality and view us as mere slaves.

Can' leave negative feedback for thieves, but thieves sure can do that against sellers out of spite.

Thievery is facilitated by both ebay and paypal.

Process is automated and favors the buyer.

No action is taken unless the scammer goes overboard and even then in the rare instance that somebody gets caught you can be assured they won't refund previous victims that have reported said "buyers".

In other words.. thieves with accounts that have little to no activity, maybe even brand new ones have better rights than honest sellers that have sold for years with a perfect track record.

Now with all this corona nonsense going on I'm sure a lot more is gonna try their "luck".

I have no trust in this system whatsoever anymore.

/rant over.
