Screen shot from my phone showing individual who sent offers to buy merchandise I listed 2 days ago which I accepted and now cannot sell the items because they are tied up. After I accepted items and realized it included high shipping offer, I became concerned and looked up their information. Learned that their account had only been setup yesterday. How do I get my merchandise released from an accepted offer and relist it? Thanks. Angie

Every eBay seller is free to reject any buyer for any reason.
That said, your items are not in high scam territory and price points are modest—not attractive targets to scammers.
On the whole, new buyers should be welcomed to the platform, not eyed with suspicion. At this point there is no indication of fraud, if that is your concern.
In order to relist, wait out the four day grace period and then cancel the sale with “buyer didn’t pay”.

I don't understand what you mean by high shipping offer
Shipping is not something that can be negotiated in an offer. Pay attention to what you are accepting

Looks like they bid on two of your items. If they don't pay, wait the 4 days, on day 5 cancel the sales citing buyer did not pay and then block them.
You may also consider a fixed buy it now price with immediate payment required checked off. No best offers either. Especially during the holiday season. You want serious buyers, not a bunch of pests who bid for the fun of it and then tie up your items for 4 days.
It's the only way to rid yourself of these type of sport bidders.
Good luck and Happy Selling.

ckimodog provided some excellent advice. Personally I quite using OBO a LONG time ago due to issues exactly like this. You are a pretty low volume seller and you can probably find the average market/selling price for a lot of the items you have listed. Switch them over to BIN with immediate payment required. If you want to use the auction format for items you cannot find or determine a value on start the bidding at the lowest price you are willing to accept, you can also add a BIN figure but it has to be 30% higher than the starting price and that price goes away once a bid is placed on the item, and get rid of the OBO.

Are they offering to pay more for you to ship the item than you requested? If yes, they are scammers and will try to send you a fake invoice. Did they get your phone number or email address from you? If yes, that is illegal and only scammers would need that information. They do it to set you up with a fake email stating that they paid. They are hoping that you are gullible and will not verify the payment in MY EBAY.
Remember, verify all payments in MY Ebay. Try to ship through the ebay system. It will say SHIP if the buyer paid. If they did not pay, you will see a warning that payment has not been received. ONLY ship to the address provided with the payment. NEVER ever believe a story like I want to ship this to Grandma or to my kid in another state. You will have NO seller protection if you ship to an address that is not on the ebay payment.
