Hi folks,
I recently sold one item on auction and I faced weird scams throughout the deal.
Here is how they went.
1) Immediate after my bid a hand fil of scammers left me messages saying they wanted to buy the item immediatly as it is urgent and they can pay if I give them the PayPal persknal link.
---> I found something fishey. So I denied tje offer
2) A legitimate buyer purchased and payed for it. But at the next second I got a message from another scammer ( later I came to know that he created his profile a day before ) reached me saying, he payed for the item but he is not at his home and the item is brought for his friemd. So he requested ( very pleasingly ) to ship the item to his friend. When it sounded doubtful, I contacted the real buyer to confirm if this is him. Then I came to know aboit the scam.
---> The check with actual buyyer saved me from losing the item. I was just about to drop it in FedEx for the fake address.
Guys be careful with this garbage out there waiting to grab your hard earned money.
