I had a guy contact me to text his personal number with photos of my item before he sent me money. Then asked me to ship a 400$ gift card with my sold item and was very adamant about me doing it today. His number was a 727 area code. I relisted my item and canceled his order. Just to making sure that won't show up as a negative review how would I let eBay know of the situation, I'm pretty certain it was a scam.

When you cancel the order in such a situation like this mark the cancelation as "Problem with address"

Thank you. I figured as much since he started to get very aggressive and wanted to do these actions outside of the blanket of eBay.

He was for sure blocked immediately.

What reason did you use for cancelling the transaction?

He wanted to have all of the transactions outside of eBay and then started to get aggressive about me buying a gift card today to include with the payment of the item I was selling.
