Does this seem legit? For some reason I can't really comprimise what hes doing - it is for him to directly pay me so i miss out on ebay protection - then he does a charge back once he receives the item?
Hi, I'm the buyer of your XXX and i'd love to proceed with the payment immediately, can you please send me an invoice directly via eBay and please include your full name and PayPal email as a note in the invoice, just so you know the shipping is here in the US as it's going to be confirmed to you by ebay and paypal upon payment confirmation...
Thank you.

Yes, it's a 'SCAM'.
You will then receive a fake e-mail saying you have been paid and it will be released just as soon as you upload tracking to prove shipping.

It is not legit..but you already know that.
You don't have to look far on these boards to find hundreds of post and people that have been scammed this way.
Never take it off eBay.. you would get a fake paypal invoice mailed to you...often they will ask you to expedite shipping, or send to a new address as it is a gift, even add a gift card.
Don't reply to them other than through eBay messaging and you can always add them to your bbl list.

Their plan is to send you a fake payment e-mail and get you to ship without payment. If they're using the same ID as your real buyer then file an unpaid item case and block the ID. If they're using a different ID from your real buyer then just block. Don't reply to them.

Yes, it's a scam.
They want your Pay Pal email so they can send you a fake email saying you've been paid.
They hope you'll ship the item before you find out you've been scammed.
