So today, there was a new buyer that bought something from me. But I checked both the names and addresses and they are the same as another buyer who just bought from me last night. I don't want to report the accounts, but my questions is this, is it better to send out the items separately or put them in one box despite in different accounts. I decided to be safe and just sold them separately, but I wanna ask on what I should do if this happened again.

There would be no reason to report the buyer, anyone is allowed to have more than one account.
Does the buyer have 0 feedback? It's possible that they are using a guest account which generates a new ID each time. In that situation you can't add the same tracking number to both transactions if different id's were used, so if you are worried about a buyer claiming an item not received it's best to ship out separately.

Send them separately.

Both accounts didn't had any feedback until I did, but I'm not sure why the buyer made two accounts. Even still. I went the safe way and just made a separate tracking for the other order.

Members can have multiple accounts so there's nothing to report. You can ship items together only when they're purchased by the same user name.
In this case they need to ship separately.

You did the right thing.
Never combine orders if they're from two different accounts, even if you are certain they're from the same person, even if the buyer requests you to, because you need to have a trail specifically for each order to its destination. No problem to combine orders for the same account, even if they're days apart, as long as you stay within your handling.

What do you find reportable about this scenario?

You said it was the same person that purchased something last night and then today. Maybe they did not know to ask you to combine the shipping and they just paid for the items separately. If they paid for two shipping services, that is what they should get.
Sometimes different people are using the same address because items are going to a Freight Forwarding or a Re-Shipper service and then to a International destination.

Because I've been using some sites (like Mturk and Swagbucks) that tell that you can't make another account, I don't know if you get in trouble with ebay if you pull that same stunt.

I sell on a site where you can't make two accounts, either - here, though, you can make as many as you want. Not a great idea IMHO, but it's allowed.

It could be a roommate thing, same address but two different people.
There are actually quite a few more scenarios where it's two different people, same address...
Definitely ship separate.
I think you'll be fine, my opinion.

Once I made a mistake with inventory and had to buy from other sellers (yeah, I know using another seller as a drop-shipper is a bad move). I changed the address on each purchase to the new (customers) address.
I messaged the sellers, explained what happened and MOST told me it was just fine, other than a seller who'd I'd bought 3 of the item from. She shipped them all in the same package. The buyer who got 3 of them messaged me and asked why she got 3. I explained, refunded her the entire purchase and sent her money to ship the other 2. Great customer!
The seller, not so much.
In the end, everyone got their packages and my butt was saved!
So there are many reasons why a buyer might have bought multiple items in different transactions.

What ended up happening? I just had a someone buy from me today and I noticed a different account with the same address purchased from me about a week ago.

This thread is 3yrs old.
So what! Buyers can buy with more than one account or perhaps your buyer uses guest accounts.

As noted in the very first reply in this thread, over 3 years ago: "There would be no reason to report the buyer, anyone is allowed to have more than one account."
