Sales

I have been selling on EBay for a while now. It appears that none of my sales are reaching the buying population. I've just announced a 20% discount on all products in my store.  how can I increase my views.

Any suggestions? And i'm not the only person

@jamwashi23

Hi there-

Do you use your social media buttons?  There's a link at the top right hand side of your page that reads "Share"...if you have any of those apps installed in your phone, etc. you can attach your listings and tweet, fb, etc.  I had a sale the other day from a lady who saw my post on one of my social media apps and made a point to tell me that's where she saw it.  It certainly can't hurt.  You have nice items, put them out there for the world to see!!

Good luck and Happy Selling!!

Re: Sales

@jamwashi23 Your listings are reaching the buying population, it simply takes time to sell online. It's not like the Tv commercials where you list an item and someone immediately wants to buy it. Also, you are coming across as if you know nothing about how to sell online because you show so little feedback. That makes you a magnet for scammers. What you need to do is acquire FB as a seller quickly. You also need to leave FB for sellers you've purchased from, you didn't in the past.

That type of interaction and quid pro quo makes you seem like you understand how online selling works. Always leave FB for each of your buyers too. Many times, when a buyer receives FB first, they are more likely to reciprocate. As you begin to accumulate FB as a seller, you will increase your sales. You can do this, but you need to put in some groundwork first. Remember, you are a perfect stranger to every buyer on here. Best of luck to you....

Re: Sales

Maybe you should do some more pricing research.  Your copy of "The calling" is asking $24 plus $10 shipping, but many other sellers are offering it for under $10 with free shipping.  At least get the author's name into your title and put the ISBN in the item specifics.

Re: Sales

Try to make sure your title includes relevant keywords buyers will search for. For example, your "collar leach combination" doesn't include the words "dog" or "harness."  It also misspells "leash," which you should correct if you want anyone to find it.

Can you provide more specifics?  If I were looking for a harness, I would want to know what size dogs it fits. Does the tag say something like "For dogs 15-25 lbs" that you could include in the listing?

Re: Sales

I see a lot of problems.

You don't seem to be researching prices. 20 percent off means nothing if the initial price is bad.

You are forcing parcel select ground on everything. I ship at least 20 packages a day and I ship something parcel select ground roughly twice a year. It is rarely the appropriate choice.  Most of your items can ship first class.
