Sales not reflecting on Paypal, also cannot buy shipping on ebay??

Hey All, 

We have 2 major issues that we've been trying to solve with both eBay and Paypal for weeks. We updated our Paypal account info with a new business account as we've been selling more here on ebay. 

Since doing that, and after having linked and verified the new Paypal account, any sales we have had do not come through in any regard to our new account! It's like they just float off into the universe somewhere. But it's not a buyer scam, they are true purchases that eBay verified they have paid to our (correct and new) Paypal. We've spoken with Paypal several times, they claim we are totally fine, legit, and should be seeing these transactions. There are multiple sources of funds connected to the new account, and nothing is on hold or pending, as the new account is over a month old now, and we have absolutely no notifications indicating any hold or such, and Paypal support says again, we are fine. 

2nd issue, we go to buy shipping through ebay, and we get the same error message everytime: Cannot purchase label, Please check your Paypal Settings such as funding sources and try again.

Our sources of funding are correct, verified, and again, Paypal themselves told us several times we are in the clear. 

We finally spoke with a different eBay support rep yesterday saying the shipping error message is a technical error with eBay, and they submitted a tech request on our behalf.....but what else can we do in the meanwhile? Are these two issues connected somehow? We have also tried clearing browser history, cookies, trying (multiple) different internet browsers...nothing. Same issues. What is happening? How can we fix these?

Since you set up a new PP account, did you update all your listings individually or with the bulk editor?  If you didn't, then they are going to your old account.  Each PP account has a unique email address.  So if you only corrected your Site preferences and not your individual listings, that would be your issue.  You should find all your payments in your old account.

 

If this is your issue, fixing it will probably fix the other issue.

 

To get these existing sales shipped, you may need to go back and set your Site Preferences to your old account.  Get these sales shipped out, then change it back and make sure you have updated all your listings to be for the new account so this doesn't repeat.

yesssss!!! That was the reason for us not getting payments- THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Still can't purchase shipping through ebay though, and don't see an email tied to the shipping options..?

I'm so glad that helped you.  I'm confident that was a BIG relief to find the issue.

As to your other issue, I have not personally had this problem.  But my guess would be you need to go change your site preference for your PP account back to the old account.  Then come back and process the shipping labels.  When you are done, go back and reset your PP account to your new one.  Hopefully that will resolve that issue too.

 

Now if that fails.  Go to your old PP account and print the labels from there.  Then because it is having a problem communicating with the Ebay side, MAKE SURE you come back and UPLOAD / enter ALL your tracking numbers.
