No reason to voice again, & again what manny have already stated, about experiencing slow sales.
Happy Holidays to All

I think you have just missed them. They are everywhere.

The few that start a topic once a week just have not shown up yet. Might have to wait until Monday when the slow weekend complaints come in.

Things are slow and have been for 2+ years. I used to sell 6-8k/mo now I'm lucky to get 2k on this venue. That's why I diversified - sell at swap meets, flip cars, etc. People have been experiencing poor sales for so long I think they're weary of typing posts about it.

For me November and December are usually pretty slow because of what I sell. Not too many people buy old books and paper for gifts. My business picks up after Christmas when people have gift money to spend on themselves.
When I was selling my handmade candles, sales were very brisk this time of year because people would buy them as gifts.

Monday there was a post up," how was your weekend.?"
We replied.. Sort of ok, with not much up.
Four sales. But, one was canceled after a few hours, (buyer found item cheaper....wonder how?)
we refunded immediately.
(lost fees, will have to sell another item to break even from that one!)
Now we are getting a "ship now, you are late" message from eBay.
Not a sale since.
So, lots of hassle, little $$$.
Beginning 2015, we were selling nearly 10% of our inventory...Weekly.
this is not complaing. Just fact sharing.

Some who have not sold 1 item over the past week might think this is pretty good but, I'm at less than $80 US starting from last Friday. I find it absolutely PATHETIC. I had 1 sale last Thursday that almost matches my total "earnings" since then. eBay is only depressing now & some, like myself, will have their holidays ruined by this site not living up to any potential. Take care. 🙂

I took the OP as an exercise in irony since the forum seems wallpapered with slow sales threads.
it's just the usual with me, although slower due to the IS debacle (which isn't fixed even yet) - if I list, I sell.

We really need a sarcasm font.
There are plenty of emojis to communicate that.

Not really.
Do you always have to have the last word?
You asked a question or stated something I had a possible response to, so I posted it. Because you didn't agree with what I said, this is just an attempt to make it appear that my response has no value. And that may be true for you but isn't in general. My response that we could use the emojis to convey that we are speaking w/ sarcasm in our post is something that people can easily do. There are all kinds of them available for use.
