When I view our listings, I no longer see the sales history. 371784640290, for instance, should have sales history of nearly 150 but it appears as if nothing has sold, once in the listing.
It still shows on the results page (if you search by part number 28185-3TA1B, for instance) but it always used to be in the ad (near the Quantity field) too. There are lots of times when I need to see and/or quote sales history for a given item. I go right to that item in our store. I do not want to search the whole of eBay by part number, then weed through the other sellers offerings until I see ours. That is unnecessarily complicated...
Anyone else seeing this? If so, eBay, if you're reading this, please fix this issue. Seeing sales history gives buyers peace of mind. And it helps sellers with research and communications. The feature has value and needs to be in the listing too. Not just on the results page...

We can also no longer see the sales history unless searching in active listings for that specific item. Can also no longer see the category an item is listed in for our listings unless the listing is put into the revision state. Was told by ebay yesterday to search by category. Do not understand who initiates these kinds of updates but they, like most of the updates, add extra steps for sellers and therefore, extra time. Would think they would rather we utilized our time to increase the number of listings posted and the money made for both sellers and ebay.

Yes, I don't understand why you would want to take away potentially useful indicators. So I doubt it was intentional. But, the frustrating part is, it seems like many times when they 'break' something they act like they meant to make the change. They don't own up to it being a mistake... The fact they come up with proposed work-arounds that are more cumbersome or illogical seems to confirm this. Because there's no way they could actually be thinking: "Hey. Why don't we take away this feature and make them use some other more painful way to figure it out...?" The fact the 'broken' thing usually ends up getting fixed (even if it takes a while), is also a strong indicator it never should have happened in the first place...

The categories the listing was made under are still there but way down at the bottom under More You Would LIke.

If the reason you need the number is to see your own sales history, what you can do is customize your view in Seller Hub on your Active listings page.
Add the Qty Sold column to your view then search the part number.
Seeing sales history gives buyers peace of mind.
I agree. Click the ? icon on the bottom right of the page and submit feedback direct to eBay product developers.

Thank you for the suggestion on viewing the sales history from Seller Hub. It is not the only reason we want to see it in the ad, but it is part of it. As I mentioned (and you agreed), it also gives the buyer peace of mind, so it needs to be reinstated.
The other reason it is nice to have it there is: sometimes it is helpful in situations where the buyer is having an issue and wants to automatically assume they got a defective or something not as described. If we can point them back to the ad and have them take a look at the sales history, it often goes a long way towards convincing most people in this situation that: "Wait, there might be another explanation after-all. I can see they have actually sold 150 of this item and have zero negative feedbacks. Maybe my assumption was incorrect. Maybe I need to do some more research and/or take this experienced seller's advice..."

Sales history is still missing from the listings. Does anyone know if this has been reported yet?

This is intentional..
Here's a link about it. https://community.ebay.com/t5/Report-eBay-Technical-Issues/Number-of-items-sold-history-not-showing-...
ALSO See @wastingtime101 's post above. The last line tells you how to give feedback to eBay on how much you are "enjoying" the lack of this feature. /sarcasm.
