Sales drop

I really need some advice.  My sole income is selling on eBay.  I have been selling for the past three years on eBay and making at least $600 a week.  However something has happened in that my sales have all but stopped over the last month.  I mean stopped.  My sales are down 80%.  I am aware that there are highs and lows in selling, but this is crazy!  It’s like something happened that I have no sales now!  I am freaking out!  Nothing has happened with my competitors; as I regularly check others listing the same items.  HELP!  Any advice?

Re: Sales drop

There are certain products imo that should be purchased directly from the source.

This is one of them.

How does someone on an online venue do custom fitting.

My eldest daughter grinds her teeth so we had to get one of those mouth guards.  My oldest had the invisible braces.  Both were fitted by going to our dentist so that they were custom made to fit each one's mouth.

Re: Sales drop

I cant get it all captured on my phone.

Go to ecommercebytes.com.
Scroll down until you see
"New and Confusing Item Location Policy". Its in a colored box.

I think I read it doesnt take effect until july 31.

Thank you for letting me know this!  We have two dental offices.  I did go back and fixed this like you mentioned, but am I too late?  Do you think they black balled me forever?  Not sure what to do 😞

If you are being blacklisted by eBay for dropshipping, then perhaps you can call up eBay customer service and ask them if there is some sort of block on your account.   You might magically see your sales begin again.

The only other thought I have is that this might be an improper sale, though not sure how eBay would know ... I have no idea, but doing custom dental work through the mail might violate some states' licensing rules (that is, perhaps you need to be licensed in whatever state you are practicing) ... again, I don't know, but just throwing stuff against the wall.

You're sure that something didn't happen in the market you're in?

The big danger with a narrow product line is market shifts which obsolete your products all at once.

Re: Sales drop

In addition to it being summer, there are many site changes going on now, and inevitably that causes slow sales or causes sales to grind to a screeching halt.
