Sales down rapidly since feb 2022

Hello ,

I am dealing in Indian Musical Instruments.  Sale dropped since Feb 2022. Infact may and june is worst.  In May got only 5 sale.

And in june only 2 order in 15 days .

I usually use DHL Express and they increase shipping price by 40 % .

Though I have TOP RATED badge. And 100 % positive  feedback But still didn't get sale.

The pool for potential buyers has dropped more than 50%. Expect things to get even worse as inflation goes up. Most just do not have the extra spending money they once had.

Are you using promoted listings and if so at what ad rate? Some store really need to check the trending ad rate and see what their competition is doing. If trending add rate is 5% and your only doing 2% you may have to increase the rate to compete. Try running a 15% off sale. Try a 20% off store coupon at the same time buyers can only pick one or the other discount. Inflation is bad people are tight on expenses. So they are spending less. If you get low offers you might have to take some just to get some cash rolling in. Things are very tough right now for many sellers. Shipping is bad and going to get worse. Lastly where do your items fall on the search results? If your not on the first page you need to be with some items at least. 40% of sales on ebay are from listings on the 1st page of results.

So now we are bringing politics into ebay sales. Cry me a river. Sales are down for many reasons  do you want to the truth, or inflated profit margins?  Best we leave politics where it is these days, flush it.

@music-junction   You're already on track to surpass your August sales. There is plenty of money, no matter what the doomslayers say, it's just that speciality items like you are selling often do better in the fall/winter months when many people start to move inside - summer is often slow.

Just keep going - make sure you stay active with your listings so they stay up in search.

I have been Ebay seller with 2 stores since 2006.Sales are way down since May ,1st 2 quarters were good the bottom fell out Have run multiple sales including a 50% off and very little activity. We sell Antiques,Collectibles and Vintage and New/Used on the other store.
