Sales Tax "Optional" a new option on invoices? I thought this was automatic?

Went to send out a few invoices today, and noticed that there was a check box now for sales tax, labeling it "optional". For the longest time, I swear this was not an option. I can't find any info on where this might of changed, but not sure what to do, if I leave it unchecked, am I now supposed to collect it manually? Anyone else notice this?

Are you sure that is not an option to display the sales tax amount on the invoice, or something like that?

It would not make much sense to leave it up to sellers to decide if sales tax is to be collected; eBay is legally obligated to collect sales tax regardless of whether sellers check a box or not.

I saw this the other day also.   The person paid before I sent the Invoice so I do not have a copy but there was some option for the Sales Tax.  Not sure what would have happened if I selected it.

Yes, give us a screen shot please so we can see what you are seeing.

I just processed a Combined Order and the option to select the Tax is not there today.  Maybe it was just a temporary thing that was not meant to be (a bug)?
