Sales drop for me when ebay made changes to Jewelry Category. I started to do the following to push sales.
1. Started to run sales
2. Pushing offers to "Watchers"
3. Drop prices
4. Post items for sale. Post more items for sale. And post more items for sale.
5. End items, and repost.
In your case, what are you doing to push sales? And what has work for you? Are you doing some thing different from what have you done in the past? I will love to hear your methods to push sales.
But please keep this conversation on the positive side. Complaining doesn't help in any way.

My sales are the best ever. Over 7K this month. I sell jewelry & collectibles. They were low a couple months ago. Here's what I did:
1. I ended and did sell similar on all listings.
2. I continued to add listings.
3. I promoted every single listing at 7%.
4. I did a 10% markdown.
5. I sent offers to every watcher.
Now, you may think I'm giving away the store. But, my profits have never been better. I price my items so I can promote and put on sale and still get good $$ when they sell.

Running a black Friday store coupon voucher 20% off till next week. There should be millions of people shopping online over the coming days for black Friday sales. Make sure your running a sale. Also go back and check your older listings ebay made changes some sub categories dumped. If you have item specifics that need doing try and get them done. Keep listing more.
On ebay try to see where your items are sitting in best match results. Compare your title to the ones at the top of the search results with similar items.

I am continuing to use Promoted Listings Standard.
Most buyers get a 10% Off Coded Coupon with their shipment.
I just started a 15% Off Markdown Sale in my store on over half my merchandise. It runs through Monday.
I will continue to send some offer to watchers.
Over the next few days, I will finish doing my required item specifics.
I am adding more listings.
I will try to do more Social Media postings.

Yes, sales are really slow for this time of year. It is stressful from the cheap seats.
We have sent over 50% of our inventory to FBA. Sales on other sites are Robust and steady.
We have a sale running thru 12/1 and have items promoted that have quantities and include a paper coupon to buyers for a discount on a 2nd purchase.
We have updated item specifics until our fingers are tired. We have ended listings, sold similiar, re-listed. End campaigns, started new campaigns.............in desperation we even sent offers to Buyers where we are the lowest price and it still did not sell. 😞
And yes, our profit on certain items, is dwindling. (Did I mention this is stressful?)

I commend you.
Most sellers just come here and complain.
Nothing for them to do. They're not doing anything wrong. It's all ebay's fault.
I hope things pick up for you.
Happy Thanksgiving!

I get what you're saying (I've been there), but being negative and just complaining doesn't do any good, either. May as well save one's sanity by keeping going and keep trying new things. I've re-invented my selling here many times before just to keep solvent because not only does eBay change, but the retail around us changes.
Mostly I'll just keep listing. Sourcing inventory and USPS shipping (upper left corner of the lower 48) is making it a struggle for me - I've spread my heavy items elsewhere but still listing basics here.
Keeping active is one of the most important things for both visibility and recency.

You are right, but some money is better than no money. As your money is just sitting on your items.

I understand that sales are slow. But you are trying different things, I find my self in the same boat. But I am doing some thing about it. Over the summer, June, July, and August were very bad months for me. And I was in the "Hope" phase that every thing was going to go back to normal. But it did not work.
Any way, thanks a lot for your comment. Keep on moving forward, not backwards.

Over the summer I was in the "Hope" pattern. Thinking that every thing was going to go back to normal. But that did not work. Now, I am looking for solutions, and to trying different things. Some thing might work.
