Sales Conversion Rate

What's a 'good' Sales Conversion Rate (Quantity sold divided by clicks, multiplied by 100)? Ours is .74 which seems really low (down from 1.19 which looks much better).

Re: Sales Conversion Rate

There is no correct answer to that, it all depends on what you are selling and how aggressively you price it.

I personally have a 1.4 conversion rate on one store and 5 percent on my other store.

I don't know what's good, but I have 2.5% for the past 30 days (and 2.7% the month before). I'm running auctions every week that have almost 100% sales because of low minimum bids, I think their presence helps the sale of other things in the store.

Now getting people to pay is a whole other problem I don't have to deal with when doing fixed priced listings, even though I don't require immediate payment. At least most pay, even if some pay late and like to combine over multiple weeks.

Re: Sales Conversion Rate

I would be happy to sell one out of ten, and even then, my brain is thinking, "Man, I just listed those other nine for nothing?" I get no one sells everything, but it is very discouraging.  There's too much competition. When I look stuff up to see if anyone else is selling, sometimes I get lucky and see zero, but a lot of the time, it's 48 other people. LOL. How do I compete with 48 other people? At least half of them have to know what they're doing. 🙂
