Searching for CPU prices this evening. Intel processors are always 5 characters. Typing a specific 5 digit part is usually all you need to do. I try to look up SR2P5 which is an E5-2667V4. The results are full of SR2L2 i7-6700s with some SR2P5s mixed in.
Yes, I know I could add "E5-2667V4" for better results, but I shouldn't have to. SR2P5 should not return results that aren't SR2P5. I would understand if some other category, like car parts had some sort of SR2P5 crank sensor, but showing me other processors that have nothing to do with SR2P5 is stupid.

If you look at item specifics are any wrong in there? Like are sellers doing a search and choosing the wrong related item and it has the info filled in already and they roll with it.

They are unrelated items aside from being processors. One is for servers, one is for desktops. One is i7, one is Xeon. There are too many SR2L2 in the results. That many sellers didn't use the wrong details. This is eBay showing me stuff that I am not looking for.
I have tried the same search in incognito Chrome and DuckDuckGo. Same results. I thought maybe eBay was adding the other stuff because I purchased SR2L2s recently, but that wasn't it. And if it was, it shouldn't be because it isn't what I was searching for.

Do you get better results by putting your keyword in quotes?
If so, the problem is likely a keyword substitution issue. Putting one of your keywords in quotes forces eBay to skip keyword substitution and search for exact literal results. It also bypasses automatic category navigation, so you may have to manually change the category.
