SLOW SALES!

No sales barely any watchers. This has been going on for the past year. I don't give up, but what's going on? I've heard other sellers complaining too.

Sellers have been complaining about slow sales on this board every week for 20 years. The ones who are getting sales have no need to come here.

Re: SLOW SALES!

Sales are fast for me. You simply don't have enough listings up. Maybe people don't want the items you listed, so find a faster selling category and you'll do better if you list higher quantities of the right items.

Re: SLOW SALES!

You have a handful of listings in a category that is super-saturated - jewellery.  Looking at your Solds (if they're all solds), you're selling about what one might expect for this situation.  There are 1.7 billion items on eBay, and jewellery and collectibles are swamped even worse than clothing, which is saying something.

If you can list more items, that would help, because you do have nice items and selling about one a week with the tiny amount you have, is actually good.

Hell is empty. And all the devils are here.

Re: SLOW SALES!

There are always some sellers complaining about their sales. Maybe the buyers in your niche have other interests and aren't buying from your store, or maybe your items aren't what the buyers need during these challenging financial times, or your pricing is out of the buy box for the niche, or other. Please let us know your views.

Re: SLOW SALES!

It has slowed down for me the later half of this week. I chalk it up as peeps getting ready for their credit card payments after the holidays. Hang in there!

@dollface18

There was a pandemic surge in online buying in 2020 and 2021.

That ended abruptly in January 2022.

If you are making comps, use your records from 2019 and 2018 instead.

In addition @wheredidiputthatremote the post Christmas market is poor in many categories. I count myself lucky that stamps and other collectibles sell poorly before Christmas and then come back with a rush after Boxing Day.

I agree about the credit card bills.
