It's been a slow day for me. Not even getting many watchers today. So spent the day prepping inventory and taking pictures to have a stockpile of things ready to list. The up and downs or EBay are sometimes so frustrating. Hope everyone had GREAT sales today and things pick up for me tomorrow.

I've been slow the last few days (with only a few small cheap items selling), then I listed some stamp lots tonight and seem to have sold four of them this evening, so I guess things are looking up.
Sometimes you just have to list a few new things to get interest.
I sent a bunch of offers last night to try and get sales but not so much as a nibble. It was 3 newly listed items today that sold (plus one offer I sent tonight).

I agree. Listing new items usually gives a little boost. I've created 37 new listings the past 2 days and just a few small sales like you. I do have consistent daily sales though. Rarely do I have a NO SALE day (maybe once a month) so that's good. Wasn't complaining just making an observation and wishing good sales for everyone else. I've been selling on EBay since 2006 and am well versed in the ups and downs.

I have a hard time keeping sales at a desired level without adding new listings regularly. Sooo, I think you have the right idea. Get new stuff ready to list and get them out there to backup the existing listings.

Zero sales for me so far today.
I wish I sold better stuff! 😉
Have a prosperous weekend everybody!

It's been slow for months and only getting slower. I'm down 75% so far this month.

If i could only corner the market on those, I would be rich. Filthy rich.

Hi @kyndra06 , took a look at your listings—impressive effort! Nicely done, very appealing photos. And measurements included too.
Food for thought: As a clothing seller, i noted you do not offer returns. That might help boost sales for you.
For years I added up to $1 to every price, that is put into a suspense fund to cover any returns/losses. Fortunately i very rarely have one, so my suspense fund is now high enough i offer free returns. Even with that i rarely get a return.
Good luck and hope things improve!!

Brick and mortar sellers have ups and downs, too. January is rarely as big a month for most traditional retailers compared to December. Funny how that works.
The electronics and CD shop I worked at back in the day would see a big slowdown in business about this time in January when people’s credit card, utility, and car payment bills started rolling in.

Clothing and shoes is getting butchered on e-commerce these days. Prepare to sell at a loss to move merchandise. I highly recommend not procuring any more clothing. At this point, you can lose money selling items you got for free.

I do just fine as far as overall sales and have been on EBay as a seller for a long time. As I said I rarely have a day with ZERO sales. My post was not intended to be a plea for help or advice. I believe as a seller I should stick selling the items I am knowledgeable and passionate about. I may not have the BIG profit margins per item, but overall with my consistent daily sales I do just fine. I make enough NET Profit (after expenses) to make it worthwhile to me. I take great pride in my Ebay store and have built my business up over several years. I would never tell another business owner how to run their business or cast negativity onto another sellers hard work.
On a side note I am single and my children are grown with families of their own so my time is my own. I also work full time Mon-Fri as a Financial Planner and Accountant. With my education and work experience I have a very good grasp on financial profitability.
My original post was meant to be uplifting as by saying, even on the slow days you can always prepare and be productive.
