Seller Protection is a joke.. ebay just let buyer open different claims until they won then let them keep 185.00 and the item we mailed them. eBay does not have your back.

They actually aren't that hard when you can defend yourself but eBay is not going to put in the time or fight when its not their money.

If the chargeback was for "exactly" the same reason as one of the ebay cases the buyer lost then you SHOULD have 'seller protection' from that chargeback.

At that point, they have no standing in the matter regardless.

1. Buyer claimed they did not get item opened and lost case.
2. They then opened new case saying part of the item was not there (brand new factory sealed and weighed the same as all other boxes, we are authorized dealer for the brand and buy direct).
3. They refused to communicate or provide any other information and lost that case.
4. They then filed chargeback with their credit card and ebay refunded them their money and did not require them to send anything back.
You can appeal the chargeback to ebay. Here's the link to the seller protections when it comes to chargebacks:
Hopefully, you're within this 5-day timeframe:

gear,
Your opinion that e-Bay is a joke and does not have seller's back is one of which you are definitely entitled. However, your second post that explains the details clearly contradicts your claim that e-Bay robbed you, permitted the buyer to open cases until one was successful and allowed them to keep the item.
