Tracking uploaded on time and validated. But the Scan is clearly there.

Hello,

Has Anyone else had this issue? I have 2 packages that show no carrier scan but when I drill into the tracking it states USPS Picked Up Item.  Go onto USPS website and says the same.  I contacted eBay and stated I have appeal procedures and he can't verify it from USPS and keeps sending links to my Dashboard.  Clearly, they are both there through eBay and USPS sites. Now needs to be escalated. This seems like a real simple fix and the dashboard has an error. Before anyone asks I have one-day handling and they were shipped on time the day after the sale.  Same thing I have done 1000s of times. Does anyone else have this problem?

They are not arriving late, so I do not know the issue then. We try to ship on the same day or the next. It has been just in the last month this has occurred. We haven't had any issues with shipping in the last few years.  I appreciate all you have clarified and understand.  For instance, our items were scanned on Thursday but still have yet to have an update to location on USPS today. So, there fore it looks as if it has not moved from the post office here.  Although I know they are on the way to the next destination. I was just trying to clarify that this was happening here as well.  Thank you again, we always appreciate hearing from other resellers.

I had that twice, about 6 mos ago and again 1 year ago. Went to reps at FB and they were eventually able to remove the 'scanned late' as tracking showed the items were actually delivered way before the estimated date as I have 5 handling days.

We are having a similar issue. Our post office is not open on Saturday but you can drop off. They do not scan until Monday morning and sometimes not until it leave onto the next place. So, this month we've had 6 counted late. Making our rate fall a couple points.  It is out of our hands, when we are actually shipping it out early.  There has to be a better way to do this. Any advise?

Keep in mind you do not get a late shipment defect unless it arrives late.  On the Seller Dashboard it says this in the section for late shipments:

 

If you ship on time and upload validated tracking or your buyers tell us the shipment was on time when they leave feedback, you're all set.

 

This should also say if the tracking shows delivered on time.  

 

The other thing to remember is when you state your handling time, that is ONLY for Business days.  Saturday and Sundays, Ebay does not consider business days.  So you should be just fine.

I've had this happen before too.  Sometimes they just go away on their own in a few days.  Other times they didn't and I had to contact Ebay to get it taken care of.  I agree with @stainlessenginecovers that you may want to contact Ebay on Facebook or Twitter.

 

I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.

Your options will be on the left.  If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options.  Not all options are available 24/7.  It will depend on staffing available.  So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't.  Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me.  If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.

If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.

If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

It's not the Post Office. They are scanning my Pickup and I am getting the items out on time.  My dashboard for no valid reason says it's not. I am looking right at the tracking and sale date. My issue is that the rep had no idea how to look up a tracking number and check the Date Sold/Shipped/Scanned by Carrier. How do I explain to these people? I get anxiety at the thought of calling support. Also thank you everyone for your replies.

Weekends do not apply either. I ship the next day 6 days a week.  There is no reason at all to get this. I just wanted to know if anyone else has come across this and how eBay handled it.

I understood the issue the first time you posted it.  As I stated I have had this happen in the past too.  It has been a long time, but I've experienced it too.  Sometimes they went away in a few days and other times I had to contact CS to get it fixed.

 

You are again correct.  Saturday and Sundays are not considered business days.  I too explained this in an earlier post.

 

I'm not sure why you feel I have a different opinion than you.  I agree my previous post shows that..
