Ripping off our copyrights and yet STILL ahead of us in listings...

How is it that another seller can steal our images and product copy, and yet come up before us in the search results? Okay, so maybe we slipped off the 'Top Seller' wagon for a month or two, but still--do a search in eBay for 'novica', and you won't see our listings until the 3rd page or so. I am not impressed with eBay's copyright infringement policies and procedures. It is a heck of a lot of work to submit the VERO reports, and eBay takes quite some time to respond (if they respond), and they don't do any follow-up or block users after multiple copyright infringement offenses.

Submitting a Vero claim is filling out one simple form.

eBay generally acts of a Vero claim within 24 hours.

As someone who has been suspended twice (7 days and then 30 days) over just a couple of Vero claims I can assure you eBay certainly does take action.

If it isn't the pictures and these items are connected somehow with National Geographic, just what is it you feel you can claim copyrights to?

OK kids, time to get the Dodge loaded up again. I hear 'Poppy's By the Tree' calling. This trip might be a long one too.

Please explain why my listing gets reported as well when I took the picture and I watermarked the picture but they say I'm using their copyrighted picture?!? eBay doesn't look into claims before just removing listings. You can clearly see my watermark on my pics!

We are one and the same. We do not get our goods from wholesalers; they come directly from the artisans that make them. We do have a limited number of drop-ship and wholesale relationships, but the violators to whom I refer are not in that group.

The pictures are the sole property of NOVICA United, Inc, as well as the product copy. That si what is being infringed upon by other eBay sellers. They have not received permission to use our images and copy.
