Revise Listing (with restrictions)?

I am trying to revise a listing where I need to change the shipment method but when I open the item - the shipment section of the listing is locked and cannot be accessed. 

When I scroll over the lock a message pops up saying "Sorry, you cannot edit this if someone has already put a bid/offer on this item or if there are less than 12 hours left if it is an auction."

It is a buy it now and there are no current offers on the table. Any help or insight would be appreciated.

I would suggest ending it and relisting. Be sure to edit before you relist.

revising a listing that is ending is a no no. Bait and switch is what such is seen as.

End it and then relist it properly.

Another reason that a listing might be locked against revisions is if there's an active offer or counteroffer on it.

Since when is revising a Buy it Now listing that's "ending" a no no?  It's just going to renew automatically anyway.

is it possible there is an offer below your "acceptable" level that might be restricting your editing?

(you would not get notification, but you can check)

An offer below their acceptable level would just be automatically declined.

Time is involve with revising listings. Read.

Uh... the no revisions with less than 12 hours left only applies to auctions.

Perhaps this is the problem. I also 'think' that if there is a question about the item, one cannot make any changes...

When you say that there are "no current offers", does this mean that you recently declined any offers? If so, it can take the eBay system a while to pass your decline along to its various internal systems. This would delay you being able to change the shipping. Give it a day, try again and let us know?

That could be because you have sent or received an active offer on that item

i have the same situation for some of my listings, they don't have any current offer, they are not ending soon, they are "buy it now". 

only think i know they are very old. i have very much watchers on them, and they are listed on 2019, and i never ended them. 

and i actually dont want do to it. because all watcher count will be 0. (most sales was made with them)

i waited 4 days and tried revise them but restriction is still on.
