@beethriftyfinds

You can have 500 views on and item and that's no guarantee that it will sell.  Focus on sales.  You have a really nice shop.  Use your social media buttons at the top right hand side of the page where it reads "Share"  what ever social media you use, attach your listings to them and just let em fly.  I have had many sales by using my social media.  Hope you will too.

Happy Selling

As you probably know, not everything that's listed on eBay will sell.

Furthermore, clothing, especially used clothing is a category that's beyond oversaturated.

Toys, I cannot comment on, except to suggest that you check and see what similar items have sold for on eBay in the past.

@stainlessenginecovers ,

That's over 37 MILLION listings. That's more than enough items for 10 percent of the US population.

The number of listings just keeps on going up because many sellers never delete anything that doesn't sell. Which I believe is part of the problem with slow sales for some. Think clothing, antiques, and etc.

Toys definitely do sell (I just sold a stuffed animal a few hours ago, in fact), but they're very much a "need the right buyer to come along" sort of thing.

Not only are there too many used clothing items being offered, your items when one considers price + shipping are too close to the price of buying new from a retail store or that famous retail site which has Prime memberships.

As for used stuffed toys, most parents or grandparents are not going to buy used stuffed toys for children. If your stuffies are not something a collector wants, they are not likely to sell.

With only 24 items listed your chance of a miracle sale are unlikely.

Actually, used stuffies can do very well - a parent/caretaker of a distraught child who has lost their favourite stuffy will look everywhere for the same toy (clean and tidy, of course) to replace it. But as Yuhuza says, the right buyer has to come along and that may take a long time.

As for the clothing - there aren't enough unique items listed to draw much attention - you'll just get lost in a sea of other listings. I haven't been selling in the last 6 or so weeks, but when I was, I did pretty well with 150-180 listings. More than about 175 is too much stuff running for me, though - it means my offerings are diluted (and I never have enough items available to have a mix like that), but many people have thousands of clothing listings up.

Instead of looking for an external issue that may be preventing your item for selling [as views aren't sales], look at how you have structured your listings.

IMHO your titles could use some attention.  You have a lot of wasted space and aren't using keywords that buyers would likely be searching by when trying to find items similar to what you sell.  A title is your MOST valuable space.

The search engine also considers what you have in your ISBs [item specific boxes].  So use those more too.  You could state the size [in inches] of the plush you are selling.  A "medium" size anything is subjective.  State the measurements.

The listings I looked at have very little description to them.  And you don't state what the condition is other than pre-owned.  You need to actually stated in your description that the item is preowned but stored in a dry clean environment or never used to play with but as a show piece or whatever the case may be.  But your potential buyers need more from you.

Think like a buyer when you write your listings.  If you were shopping for this item, what would you like to know.

Much of what I said is still true for clothing items.  Many of which you don't state the size of the item in your title.  In your description you don't state the measurements of the item and in clothing, especially used clothing, that is VERY important.

Anyway, take this down time to improve your listings and it will likely end up being time well spent.  Just remember saying that an item is pre-owned is NOT enough.  You need to describe the condition of the item in the description.  And if there are any flaws you also state that and make sure there are good pics of any flaws on the listing too.

I can't tell you how many sales like that I've had where the buyer included a note thanking me for having a replacement for their child's favorite toy, yes. 😂

@dollocity ,

I buy a lot on ebay  as a collector and I rarely searched by sub categories. I use the item specific filters on the left side of the page a lot to narrow the number of items to what I'm looking for.

For example if I'm looking for a red short sleeved Nike polo shirt in size XXL I just check those boxes and bingo only red short sleeved XXL Nike polo shirts come up. It allows buyers to drill down their searches to save time. No one is going thru the tens of thousands of Nike polo shirts on eBay. If the seller didn't spend the time to complete the item specifics when they listed their item it will not come up.

It's difficult to sell clothing, especially preowned, when offering no measurements and no returns @beethriftyfinds .

why should someone use there social media to promote ebay , when we are already promoting on ebay( for them to promote an item ) . Unless ebay promotion do not work any longer ( then why promote probably true as promoted items seem to take months to sell USELESS). Is ebay paying people to promote ebay ? Sell on your own social media pages your self and bypass the ebay fee's ( even cheaper if you use FB or other platform fees ) .... sorry doesnt make any sense , especially when they list other promoted ads to your listings.

sorry always saw this as crazy , my opinion
