How can a buyer leave feedback before they receive their item?
Someone bought an item from me Thursday night. I packed it right away and Friday morning I shipped the item. Later that day they messaged and asked when will they be getting the item. I told them I shipped it and the tracking would update but it would arrive in the next few days.  They said ok so I thought everything was ok. They then left a neutral review stating it was slow shipping and no tracking. The tracking is available and I live in Delaware and they are in Florida. It’s not going to show up the next day. It’s so frustrating. Can I have their review removed? They haven’t even received the item yet so they shouldn’t be able to leave a review.

It won't hurt to contact eBay and try to get it removed.  It's very mild, to begin with.   

Or you could reply: Purchased (date); shipped (date); tracking shows received (date).

In addition, looks like a fairly new buyer.

It's probably because ebay sends reminders to leave fb after you make a purchase, even if you haven't received it yet. I see them all the time on here. I would send a message to the ebay agents at facebook and ask them to remove it. https://www.facebook.com/ebay.

For every sale we send the buyer a message, the day the package is mailed at the PO, indicating that the package has been mailed with the tracking # and expected delivery date. To date we have never had a buyer complain about receiving the info, ~ one in four send a message thanking us for the info, and it precludes issues like yours.

If you purchased your shipping label through ebay the tracking number should have appeared in the buyer's Purchase history and Order details automatically.  If you take items to the P.O. to ship them you need to get the postal receipt with a tracking number and manually add the tracking number to the sold item so a buyer can track the item.

If you drop items off in a P.O.'s outgoing bin they may not get an acceptance scan, but the tracking should update at sometime during shipping. 

FYI. a buyer can leave feedback at anytime after they pay for an item.
