What do you do about returns on new electronic items that buyer has installed, and then wants to return them? Ebay always sides with the Buyer even if they are lying, and forces me (the seller) to take the item back even though my listing says "NO Returns". I get back a used item that I cant even resell. They have done this to me more than once. Any suggestions? I even have to pay for return shipping to get the item back. I will not let the buyer keep it for free. We are talking several hundred dollars for these items that I am losing.

If a buyer opens a return for Not As Described you should accept the return, issue the return label, receive theitem back, issue the refund. If you qualify, you can give a partial refund if the item isn’t in the same condition as you sent it.
If you fight the return on a NAD return, eBay can refund the buyer from your funds and give you a defect against your selling account for not dealing with the return without eBay stepping in. Plus the buyer gets to keep the item.
If the return is a remorse return that’s a whole different story, that’s when your no returns policy comes into play and you can deny the return.
No returns doesn’t mean no refunds.
It’s usually best to avoid headaches and hassles to just accept the return and claim it on your taxes next year.

Very true.

This is the reason I stopped selling mobile phones and Android pads; people often returned the items claiming they didn't work when they did... The buyer had no clue how to operate them and I was stuck reselling items of lower value.

Stop selling them on ebay.

Sell locally for cash.

Thanks for the advice. I may have to do that. Ebay is definitely not on the seller's side. It is a bunch of crap.

There really is no way to prevent a buyer from claiming an item is not as described and forcing a refund.
