Got hit with a buyer who bought a prop from us and said it was ordered by mistake. I had to return funds right away and it has been several weeks and still haven't seen the returned prop. Is the return policy help out the sellers at all or just protecting buyers. And why hasn't product been returned?

The OP's complaint was that he/she had refunded immediately for some reason and had not received the item back.
So that "the return will close and get your money back" sadly doesn't apply in this case.

May I respectfully suggest that you do the reading that mam98031 recommended?
It will help to pay better attention, but you also need to equip yourself with what to do as a seller in certain situations.

?? You do NOT have to refund right away, even if u offered free returns. Once verified it was returned then u do

It is highly likely that the OP has resolved their issues a couple months ago as this thread is a little old.
