So, an item came back today, "Return to sender, unable to forward".
In 20+ years of selling, this is the first time this has happened to me. What is the best way to handle this? I'm inclined to cancel the order, problem with buyer's address, but am not sure if that is the best way to proceed.
I did send the buyer a message, with pictures of the labels on the package, but haven't heard back. They haven't bought anything that received feedback for what looks like almost a year.

I wouldn't do a thing until you hear from the buyer.

That’s definitely a good first step. I would say that if they don’t respond to your message within a few days, to try again. However, if they do not respond, and the problem is with an address issue, then there isn’t much else to do other than message them that you will have to unfortunately cancel their order.

If they answer you and still want the item, they would need to pay for additional postage. If not, cancel the order, problem with buyer's address, and relist.
