35 days; then another week or so later a 'case' will be opened, then closed to 'remove' that return. BTW, this was done before CV19 and has nothing to do with it. This was just a 'courtesy extension' to buyers to give them more time to physically get something in the mail when opening a 'return'.

From the 4/14 Announcement:
Temporary Returns and eBay Money Back Guarantee policy changes
- Buyers—We have increased the number of business days buyers have to ship a return back to you to 21 business days, starting the moment you accept a return request and the buyer receives a return label.
- Sellers—We have increased the number of business days you have to issue a refund to 5 business days, starting on the date that shipment tracking confirms the item was delivered back to you.
The extended timelines apply to returns opened on or after March 25, 2020 until further notice.

I know what the announcement says but buyers were all given 30 days, then the time was extended if they went through the motions of printing a return label.
Someone on this forum outlined the time frame with the various factors for added time- I read it last week but I can't find the post. It was specific to the extended Covid timeline.

It's what I stated; this is first hand experience. Note that after about 3 weeks, I knew the buyer changed their mind. After 6 weeks when it was 'removed', my knowledge was proven correct. You can probably bet buyer decided to keep, and just ignore it. It will go away.
