trying to list 3 books as a lot.  My return policy is always: "Money back, 30 days".  It is my only policy for returns.  When trying to list these 3 books, it keeps marking my return policy as, "No Returns".  How can I fix this?

On a lighter note, seems to me that E-bay is doing you a favor.  I do not know just how many people return books but your return policy on them opens you up to unscupulous buyers buying your books, reading them, claiming not as described  and returning them for a free library service.

I hope this hasn't and doesn't happen to you but no way would I put an open return policy on books.

Wouldn't it be way easier to just rent the from a library for FREE. It would be a lot of work and hassle to buy them and waste time returning them just to read them. I think your assumption is very rare.

Have you tried the other listing form (long or short)?

As a bookseller using eBay since 1998, I have never had one request to return a book out of thousands of transactions.

That one was for a book I thought was a catalogue raisonnee. The buyer explained why it wasn't. I paid for return and refunded. And thanked him for his helpful messages.

I deal mostly with readers, seamstresses and philatelists. All three groups are very easy to deal with since they are all used to reading, comprehending and following instructions.

A good point, cool, but the library doesn't deliver to your door.

Actually, our local library does.

It's a limited program for seniors and shut-ins, and run by a volunteer group.

Between Meals on Wheels, Friends of the Library and the pharmacy guy, you can be bedridden and still be in a social whirl.

And if you don't live close to a library, which many people don't, this might seem like a good option. Not everyone lives in a city or town.

I honestly didn't mean to get to deep into this subject.  Just seems that because of the nature of books and reading, that it would be an easy category to get your money's worth out of in a short time.

The problem corrected itself after several hours.  Never had that happen before.
