Anyone else getting hit with restrictions that don't seem correct? I just got hit with selling a prescription strength item that is available any were over the counter. There are 16 other sellers selling the item so I'm pretty upset. I called eBay just get the run around. I emailed vero and got no response. Doesn't seem right. Anyone I can contact to look at this? I worked hard to get ready for this holiday season and now I'm not active

I can't get no where. I want a cooperate email because I'm ready to leave. This is the second time. I was selling a Phillips Wisp. Sold many in the past. All of a sudden prescription needed and lost my business for 3 days. I need to talk to someone that is in corporate that speaks English. All these customer service reps do is a read a manual. Don't listen. Vero has still not responded to my email. They wait until my week is up. I'm really upset
I'm not quite understanding what it is that you're wanting VERO to respond to your email for. Was this a VERO takedown that resulted in your restriction?

But there is more to the policy than just the banning of prescription drugs. There are also rules for listing OTC medicines. Is it possible the other sellers did not violate one of those rules, and you might have? Below is the policy for your perusal.
Up thread the OP referred to the product as "prescription strength" if that was in the listing THAT is the reason it was pulled as that is the very first thing shown on the page you linked to.
While the product may not actually be "prescription strength" stating that it is in the listing will get it pulled.
I checked out the Remfresh product, I don't see anything that would lead me to think it's banned by eBay which means it's the presentation not the product that is the issue here.

Did eBay say in the message it was a VERO take down?
You haven't said yet

If this was your first takedown; you just can't 'LIST' anything new the next 7 days. Existing listings are still showing and can be processed, sold, shipped etc.

Usually takes two hits for a 7 day shut down.

Yes I believe it was a simple miss title in listing.

If it makes you feel any better even the sellers with 20+ years selling here and 100% perfect glowing feedback have had to abide by the same dang rules, and they are also really upset but on ebay that doesn't matter... One day or 20 years, it's all the same.

I have been getting beat up by eBay since November 9th. My listings were live for one week before they shut me down and started putting me through the wringer. I was told I sold too well as a new account. I have been an eBay member since 1999. I set up this second account to keep the trading cards I was selling separate from my real life and I told them this. I did not hide that fact from eBay and in fact, the rep who helped me set up my listings said he understood and agreed with me to keep the card listings separate. At first, eBay said they needed tracking numbers. The cards I sell (sold with five listings before they shut me down) were $2.99 to $3.99 each and they wanted me to purchase tracking number from them for $3.50 (more than the price of the card). No. I told the rep who advised me on setting up these listings that I could mail US Postal Service first class for $0.58 within the US and he agreed it would be stupid to pay more for shipping than the item. (His words). Well, here we are, after my beating my head against the wall and submitting every stinking piece of paper related to this business venture to the MC011 people, they have decided that they had concerns about my account so restricted BOTH of my accounts, and WILL NOT TELL ME WHAT I DID TO INCUR THEIR WRATH. This is freaking ridiculous. I see posts where people got 3 day, 7 day, or temporary restrictions and were given guidance to fix whatever problem they had. I on the other hand, cant even get an answer out of them. I have hundreds of dollars in stock sitting her, went out and purchased a Rollo machine because I found out from a YouTube video (of all places) that I could buy a label from eBay for $0.51 and it would come with a tracking number (which the rep failed to mention to me when I asked for his guidance in creating the listings). I wish I knew what the hell I did wrong to get treated SO BADLY by eBay. This whole ordeal is heartbreaking. Simply heartbreaking. My positive feedback is 99.7%, with 102 positive feedbacks for the ONE WEEK my store was in business. Does this make ANY sense to anyone? I thought eBay wanted us to do well in selling. I did well. I did very well. And they beat the ykw out of me with all their unhelpful help. I am heartbroken. I hope you fare better than I did.

Just talked to a supervisor. It was automated bot. They admitted it was a sellable item. They can't do nothing! Can't override system! Wait my days. Unbelievable. Melatonin! Melatonin! I wrote something wrong in my listing and pay for 7 days! They said it was okay to sell item and still can't reinstate me. Goodbye eBay

So you think that because you failed to do a proper job of editing your advertising copy you should be allowed to get by without consequences for that failure. Interesting concept. I doubt it would be a very successful defense in court though.
I'm curious about your "Melatonin! Melatonin!" in your response. From what I've read that hormone can have some serious unpleasant side effects in some cases. Was it contained in the item that you were listing?

I recommend that you start your own thread. However, if you opened a new account after being suspended on one in order to continue selling, I believe that is a policy violation and it is likely that it will be suspended as well along with any others that are associated with them.

I'm sorry to hear. That is a joke. They need a hotline so people can get answers. They act your a criminal

Bottom line they admitted error and can't fix it. I had a supervisor fixing it and she couldn't because it was automated by computer. Forwarded me to another agent that just talked eBay language. Total joke of a organization. Can't override

Well its really bad business. They need a hotline for stuff like this. Not calling international numbers that you can't even understand. I hope they start to improve the customer service of this company. Huge potential
