Restriction Due to Incorrect Evaluation

hi guys  

The restriction placed on my account. It appears there was an error in the evaluation of my Bad Buyer Experience (BBE) rate. The evaluation incorrectly lists a neutral feedback rate of 2.6% (1/38) and a Stock-Out Cancellation rate of 21.1% (8/38), both of which are inaccurate.
There is no neutral feedback on my account , and the Stock-Out cancellations were due to buyer-related issues or address problems, not stock shortages Im sure of that what can i do to for this on email they did'nt give me any steps to take This restriction seems to be based on a system error, and it is unfair to penalize my account under these circumstances. I value providing an excellent buyer experience and have maintained high satisfaction among my customers.

Yep, that's it.  Too many cancellation will get you every time.  There is no appealing.

Dropshipping that counterfeit stuff from China probably didn't help any.

That statistic for Cancellations is brutally high.  You are selecting the reason of Out of Stock when you have to cancel orders.  Likely because your drop shipper is out of stock and you can't ship to the buyer.  That is a huge problem for you.  You either need to find a better way to track available inventory through your dropshipper or don't use them.  

 

You also have a serious issue getting the tracking numbers uploaded to Ebay within your stated handling time.

 

I know you started this thread thinking you were being unduly punished by Ebay.  I am sorry you are having these issues, but there are rules on Ebay for all sellers.  If we don't meet them, there are consequences and some of them are pretty harsh.

 

If you don't know how to drop ship responsibly and can't fine a drop shipper that works with you better, you should never start drop shipping as it can cause you to lose your selling privileges.

 

This is all now between you and Ebay.  No one here can help you out of this mess you find yourself in.  You need to work with Ebay and see what if anything you can do to get unrestricted.  The emails you have received on this matter should have given you some information and how to contact Ebay.

Have you managed fo talk with ebay about it?

 

I have same issue. Just now I've finished my analysis. 

In my case, it is much clearer that their algorithm is corrupt. 

 

I have a problem with BBE (bad buyer experience, 10/280 , 3,6 %, higher than market average 2,4 % 

 

One of those is SNAD (significantly not as described - in buyer's opinion, of course), 2 neutral/negative feedbacks
and Stock out concellations (7/280) 2,5%. 10 in total.

ALl of these cancellations were when buyer ordered wrong item, i sell laptop keyboard keys (each keyboar dmodel is not for example made by lenovo but by 5 different manufacturers FOR lenovo, each using different mechanisms below keys etc etc) , I have very extensive descriptions, photos, and literally 5 warnings in the listing, but buyers sometimes nevertheless dont read huge letters etc. I check with them, they say, ah yeah, pls cancel than, I cancel with reason (buyer asked to cancel), and I get BBE for that . 
When actually I saved those buyers money cause they ordered wrong item, usually I double-checked with them if they ordered correctly, so just the opposite of BBE. But, thats ebay for you.

ALl of those criteria are dodgy to say the list. I mean, if market average is 2,4%.  Do we know what avetrage is. for example 
2 2 4 6 8 10 
average number here is 5,33
SO, 2 2 and 4 are below average, they go. 
We now have 6 8 and 10 avega is 8, 6 goes, than 9 go and than just one seller is there 😄 

i mean  what are we talking about, its totally non-transparent, 
On top of that they include wrong data - I say, my  situation is much much clearer than topic-starter. All my cancellations are "buyer asked to cancel" - but i started + thats really, thruthfulyl the reason. So , there is no some AI reading (or is there, but doing mistakes?) , checking our messages and caughting me saying, sorry I dont have that model, my stock was wrong. If anything, it can find, buyer asking me "pls cancel it than. "(after i doublecheck compatibility and we establish they ordered wrong item)

And pls understand i ship from Europe worldwide.  (all these affected transactions) Not dropshipped

 

All this is not going neither towards seller satisfaction or buyer satisfaction.... I sell very neat items, keyboard keys, for 10-15 usd you save yourself cost of 100$ or more. Its also recycling bot in my and your country. you fix it not threw it away. But its tricky to chose apprpriate key and theres lot of customer work.

What i wanted to say, one big lapto key seller already banned frokm USA, im being banned too. US customers will not have all those keys (will have soome in USA; but far from all versions, in USA doesnt pay of to deal with that) youll not have acces to those items. at least not through ebay.com

Just to add.. I have no idea about BBE, but if you are cancelling due to "buyer-related issues or address problems, not stock shortages", why cancel an order with an "out of stock" reason (that dings your account), and not "buyer requested" or "issue with buyer's address" that does not ding your account?

 

I also cannot see any active or sold items on this account, though. Not sure how others are seeing anything

There is no way to cancel an order without eBay registering it as out of stock.  Options are corrupt.  I'm going through this now and eBay admitted it to me when I asked, "which selection doesn't result in out of stock and why am I charged with buyer request cancelations?" They hung up after not having an answer.  eBay is a joke.  I did nothing wrong and followed their policies.

Untrue. If a buyer requests cancellation it may be canceled and marked Buyer Requested.

 

Either you or your buyers have a problem following Ebay procedure. 

 

You are dealing with other sellers here, who have used the system, not some rent a body in a country where few buy on Ebay.

Your other post states that you had to cancel orders because you were robbed.

 That is out of stock in the business world. You do not have the item to ship to the buyer.
