Restricted Account

ebay restricted my sellers account and have started asking for additional information such as documentation that shows that you purchased the item(s) recently listed for sale on ebay and a copy of a credit card or bank statement showing your payment. At first they asked for proof of delivery on my sold items which is ridiculous considering I've only every shipped through ebay and they can see my shipping labels and now they're asking for this. I asked for an explanation on why they need this information but they didn't give me  a straight answer. Does anyone know what is going on?

At face value, it looks like they want proof that you bought and paid for the inventory.

you are a new seller selling some fairly pricey items,you have no selling reputation yet, and Ebay wants to make sure those items are not stolen.You've also got a couple of negative feedbacks on those items, are you drop shipping?

absolutely!...there is reason for eBay's actions/requirements...

This is eBay's site> they can ask for, request/require/demand whatever they so choose from a seller who has virtually no "track record"

I expect Ebay suspects something fishy is going on..you need to provide that documentation if you have it, otherwise Ebay will suspend your account.

Absolutely, nothing good can come from that. Unless you know for sure where the other seller got the items from, I would not recommend you sell them.

the mail of restriction notice was came with phrase which is mentioned, contact us within 7days to verify your account, I was contacted eBay within6 hours after that mail came and there are permanently restricted my account without asking any questions for verifications, I'm new to selling and I was disappointed about that.

"Sort of" dropshipping? Yeah, that's a huge red flag! 

And FYI, if and when you ever get un-restricted, use your OWN pictures of the actual items to show that you have them readily available to ship to buyers! 

Many buyers won't purchase from sellers who are too lazy to do their own work and take pictures of the items.

No, ebay is just a bully. 

I'm dealing with the same issue right now. All my items are delivered,  100% positive feedback,  all tracking info uploaded to ebay and they STILL locked my money down.
