@thriftjunkie1 Well, I'm slowly getting there. Doubt I'll ever be entirely "ready" LOL
I'm hoping for a profitable one , and hope we all have a profitable one. One thing I am sure of: it is going to be a very competitive season: major retailers are starting earlier than ever (some are now referring to "Black Fall" rather than "Black Friday" as the start of the season), there will likely be a lot of discounting, and a lot of emphasis on fast shipping, etc.
I see you sell a lot of used clothing, that might help you because more people (especially younger people) are willing to buy pre-owned as gifts and for themselves. Also, every holiday season since the new CEO came on board, ebay has rejected the idea of doing any sitewide marketing, instead, it does targeted marketing for Focus Categories, and that might include "pre-loved fashion" this year. So ebay might actually try driving some traffic to the site for used clothing.
Best of luck to you!

I have a feeling it won't be much better the 1, 2 or 3.

Hope it's not much worse

It's not off to a great start.

I wish, sales started good the 1st quarter and has tanked ever since. On top of that after this coming 4th shipping increase, I'll have to raise my shipping price which means less sales.

Q4 begins on October 1st.
Black Friday, usually regarded as the beginning of the Holiday Shopping Season, is in late November.
So, technically, I'd say it hasn't really started yet.

Thank you for the insight!

"It's not off to a great start."
That may be due to the fact that Q4 hasn't started yet.

I am in the process of finishing up my brothers house. A couple more days hopefully. I found some stuff I might list on e-bay, or I might just say the bleep with it and just donate everything.
Each time I think I am making progress, I find more important papers or such and need to take a time out and run up to the lawyers office. That brother of mine is such a messy person, if I could I'd bring him back to life, kick his butt all the way to Calif. and back to his house.

Hi all. How can I find a reseller for my items in the North Central Florida region? Downsizing my house & I don't have the time to post all the items. How does this work? Thanks for any info.

Most efficient to hold some yard sales and, for any valuable items, contract with someone who runs estate sales.

Nope, same crap year with any on a good ole' ebay that can't even fix glitches, customer service, payments, listing views, advertising, etc.
But I will await to hear the "hyperbole" responses from the eBay Kool-Aid drinkers.

I am always ready. I do not distinguish between quarters, seasons, or months.
