Reply With Offer

Hi

We have a customer who had requested for us to send them an offer. When we clicked on the 'Reply With Offer' button in the message window, it came up with this message "There is an active offer for this buyer or limited of offers was reach". Any suggestions on other ways to send an offer to the customer?

I have this happen frequently.  The only way that I have found is to end the listing and relist it, and send a message to the potential buyer about the situation, that after it is relisted you can then send an offer.

Someone else may have a better solution.

Add a best offer to the listing with the price the buyer was willing to pay as auto accept.

No need to end, relist, etc.

 or...just edit the listing with the new price (matching the offer) and tell the customer to buy it.

Probably the better solution since you can retain IPR

Thank you for responding. This is a good suggestion but relisting ads is a tedious task in our line of business.

How is it tedious to unlist and relist?

Step 1: Go to "Active Listings" in Seller Hub

Step 2: End Listing

Step 3: Select Reason for Ending Listing

Step 4: Go to "Unsold Listings" in Seller Hub

Step 5: Click Relist Item

Step 6: Submit the Listing (No changes should have to be made....so you scroll down to the bottom and click to submit the listing.

it was more tedious to type this out than it is to end a listing and re list it.

I ended and relisted 126 listings last week all at once through this simple process. If i can do 126 all in a couple clicks, you can do 1. ... its not tedious

How do you "send a message to the buyer" I counter bid higher - then changed my mind and wante dto accept the lower bid but can't see how to message the person?
