Once again, with improvements come growing pains.
Used the percentage based Sale campaign option and can find no intelligent way of removing it so I can update or revise the item. Have even used the End then Relist to try to shake it loose to no avail. Using the End option I can update it but loose my Watchers and am not allowed to add it back to the Sale.
My biggest issue is if I need to adjust the price. I receive this error:
The price for this item cannot be updated since it is a part of a sale. If you wish to update the price of this item, please remove it from sale, or use a sale setting that will always allow price updates.
How? And, what magical sale setting always allow price updates? Word salad error messages. I can see my item in the existing column of the sale but there's no way to remove it - that I can see anyway.
Any info would be much appreciated.

When you create your promotion...you need to UNCLICK OPTION (keep items in this sale and block revisions for price increases). EBAY is sneaky because this is "turned on" unless you click to "opt out".

You can go to the sale in your Promotions tab, click on Edit, and then Remove Items. It's kinda hiding. You then check the checkbox next to that item in the list and click "Save and Review". Not perfectly intuitive, but it does work. It can take 10-15 minutes for it to actually come out of the sale state though.

Disregard. Found what I thought was the flawed technology solution. And, to my better judgement it was not.
STILL FLAWED. Sale showed all 35 discounted items and had a REMOVE ALL with a SELECT ALL checkbox option. At first I only (check boxed) selected my one item but the REMOVE ALL didn't change so I searched by item number and it came back with only that item and, the REMOVE ALL changed to "1 Item Selected".
Still, untested and against my better judgement I summoned the courage to charge ahead and watch my gut feelings come to light ~ it removed all 35 items from that Sale. Thanks, back-end techie gurus! I needed more work to do...

Yuuuup. This solution is idiotic and counterintuitive but works. Why Ebay just give you a "remove from sale" link on the item's listing? This makes no sense. One more reason Ebay is losing it's market share.

I have this exact same issue, except I have 100's of items listed...and its Black Friday and really don't want to end the entire sale to adjust one price. Its crazy eBay defaults to a setting that won't let you edit and then gives you no options to fix anything.
