I am going a bit nuts trying to figure out how to sell with a 'buy it now' and 'add to cart' option but without a 'make offer' button. I am finding that this problem is forcing me to think about increasing the price of my item b/c of the offer button. I am getting some rediculous offers -- there has to be a solution.
Would love to help from someone.
Thanks!!

Go to your selling page & tick the box next to all the listings you wish to edit.
At the top select 'edit' on the next page select the edit fields button and "payment info" , select remove best offer from all. SAVE edits.

OK, you say, 'in the future', but how do I remove Best Offer option now?
I swear that in order to justify their jobs, the Ebay minions have to keep making changes to the listing form. What's not broken doesn't need to be fixed.

Top of listing, revise my listing, below price should be offer best offer, uncheck.

How about if you uncheck the automatics first?

Can this be changed? If not...........why are check marks shown?

Nope, no effect.
Ok, now I am curious. Did you check it when first listing this and once checked it will not go away or is it automatic? Also if you click sell similar are all the fields still filled in and can you unclick it then? I am not saying to relist just view the page before listing.

Exactly. After getting too many ridiculous offers I tried to disable it. Failed. Had to turn the auto-decline on.
Now "sell similar" form allows unchecking everything. I would have used it but don't want to loose the sold items counter.

I guess eBays programming is treating the sold item the same as if you have a hanging "best offer". I am not saying glitch, not eBay.

Hey everyone, Best Offer can typically be removed by editing the listing and unchecking the box, however this will not be an option if there has ever been an offer made on that listing or if it was made through the New Quick Listing Tool. In those instances, the listing would need to be ended and a new listing created. The check marks are shown as the form is the same when this is an option, but would be grayed out when the listing cannot have this removed.
