What is this with ebay sending out I need to relist email. It is a waste of my time to look at. Is eBay that hard up for money? Totally ridiculous. Greed is all it is

It seems like eBay us viewing the **bleep** youtube video thinking we all are hard up for cash. Just totally stupid.

It costs Ebay very little to send that email. It will motivate some sellers.
The return on the investment probably looks pretty good.
Call it greed if you want, call it good promotional practice if you like.
Ebay wastes my time far more often sending me Ebay Live notifications I never follow through on.

If you need motivation to relist your products maybe it is time for a different money generating avenue.

They'll send an email if you have drafts to complete as well.

Why is "greed" the first thing that comes to mind for so many seller???? It is highly unlikely that very many sellers actually pay listing fees. So I agree, the statement is ridiculous.

This has nothing to do with relisting fees. Their greed is sell for cheaper but we are still going to take 15%. Hurry up and relist. I do not need to check junk e-mails all day. EBay is just like the lady on a street corner.

They want your stuff to sell so the both of you can make money.
THE NERVE OF THEM!!!

Remind me to add this one to your list of unfounded assumptions.

Now this is one I need a little more information about to fully appreciate.

What? Why? If you don't like the price of your item, change it. If you don't feel you can make enough money off of it to sell on this site, don't do it. Ebay doesn't force or require you to sell anything. Ebay doesn't force you or require you to sell anything at a certain price. Sellers are 100% responsible to set their own prices. I know Ebay is a big target and easy to blame, but sellers have full control of this.

Feel free to do so if it helps you in some way. I stand by what I said.
The only sellers that pay listings fees don't understand the policy well enough as we see some come to the threads from time to time. Or don't know when it is time to open a store. Still most do know the rules and do not pay any listings fees unless it is for upgrades.
