Regarding your request that eBay call you

just this in my ebay inbox from ebay.....however, i did NEVER request a call back....and my number is good. anybody else???

Hello myoasisjewels ,

Thank you for contacting eBay. We attempted to call you as requested. However, while doing so, we noticed that the number provided was incorrect or out-of-date.

If you still need our support, please use the ‘Help’ link at the top of most eBay pages to contact us again. If you choose to have us call you, please ensure that the number that auto-populates when you click this option is a currently active phone number.

We look forward to hearing from you again so that we can assist you.

Thanks,

eBay

That sounds like somebody tried to call using your ID ... and gave a call-back number that eBay does not recognize as yours.

I would call eBay and find out who the heck was posing as you ...

And I would change my password, too 😞

If you follow that link and use the "Call Us" number ... it will connect you to eBay  Trust & Safety (not regular CS)

Well, without seeing the 'whole presentation', it appears to be legit. You're not asked to click a link or anything... update only if you need their assistance again... same boring 'P.S.' as always.

I choose to have eBay call me (instead of wait) and have many times. But they always call back.

Hmmmm… were it me, I'd think that was odd, too. Maybe it's gremlins...

Just read @flywelstore … that may be, too.

About 2 years ago a lot of sellers got the same message because of a system error- is there a copy in your eBay messages folder? If there isn't then forward the e-mail to spoof@ebay.com

Wow. And here I am, as I was promised twice that someone would call back, and nothing. You should consider yourself lucky! haha
