Regarding eBay's fees on money which you don't collect/taxes

Hello everyone, I've read other posts about this topic but I still don't understand it.  Why is eBay charging me, as a seller, fees on the tax which eBay collects from buyers, when none of that money comes to me?

Because they have to handle the money.........take it from the buyer......send it to the state.....which YOU would have to do if they didn't..........

That is the way ebay chose to calculate the fees. Now that you are aware of it make sure to consider that when setting your prices.

Some people fail to consider the fees when listing and then get upset about it later. Don't be one of those guys!

Items are charged for the 'TOTAL' of what EVER a customer pays for the item. 

Fees are ON THE TOTAL.
