Refunds.

How does a refund work if I stated specifically no returns, unknown, UNSEARCHED, and Untested. I was very transparent with my listing and I was being accused of misleading and NAD. But eBay is forcing me to give a refund anyway. Doesn't the money back guarantee and they strick "abide by sellers return" contradict themselves

Re: Refunds.

That’s fine, but we are trying to help them get their stuff back without losing everything. Most other comments are to help them not go through this again and are based on making our own mistakes in the past.

Re: Refunds.

Yikes. If I had any suspicions at all about the authenticity I would have stated so quite clearly in capital letters right at the beginning of the description and in the title.

Again, you’re not allowed to list items as on thing then add that you’re not sure.

That would be like listing a Birkin handbag and adding “It says Birkin on the bag, it might or might not be real.

Your listing WAS misleading and it is a justified SNAD. Accept the return and refund.

Re: Refunds.

I honestly thought that's what I did. I stated junk, unknown, Untested, i said mixed lot, gold tone, pointed out what items were clearly stamped and I never took them anywhere to get checked. Just trying to unload my collections of crap that I've acquired over 20ys. I stated craft, repair, repurposed, used, pre owned, and AS IS due to unknown base materials. I THOUGHT that was pretty transparent

Re: Refunds.

I appreciate your message. TRUST ME LESSON learned. I don't know how I "miscatagorized" it following the prompts. I tried doing a lot of research before posting anything. I thought I was being transparent with stating that it was an unknown mixed lot and some items were stamped. Not really sure where I went wrong. So all that said, just wanted to say ty

Re: Refunds.

Absolutely, you're owed some cheering up, that's gotta hurt. I do that stuff to the point of pain, like I'd rather have the thing sit in the store forever than risk having some buyer flip out when they don't read the description for actual comprehension.

Re: Refunds.

If it was really 4oz of 14K gold, you could have sold it to a scrap business for $8,000. Why would you sell it on eBay for $5,000 minus fees and shipping and the risk of a return?
