Did you mean:

Refunds

Do you think it's fair that I as a seller have to give a refund because a buyer lied and said an item I listed didn't match description or photo?? Ebay did not even give me a chance to dispute the claim. I DID NOT list it wrong and the photo matched description. I am so mad right now because it is not fair!! I sent a message telling Ebay the buyer was lying, all they had to do was look at my listing but apparently sellers don't matter any longer! This will be my last words on ebay, I will not sell or buy another thing from heartless millionaires that don't care about their sellers!! I am just sick to my stomach about this mess!!!!

Re: Refunds

I can understanf the frustration.  After well over 1000 sales I am off this platform over fraudulent returns.  They failed on so many levels.  From lies from CS agents to closing an appeal after documenting they would hold it open for 5 days for me to give them more documents and proof.  They already had all the photo proof with digital time stamps showing the return being opened and the damage caused by the buyer.  They still refunded against their claims they will not allow fraudulent returns.  They requested a return based on something other than all the damage they created.  So my advice is simple, if you are not willing to live with a platform that sides with fraudulent buyers against their own policy...leave. Be willing to give up years of selling here because in the end, it is an antiquated selling platform not worth your time and money.  Face it, they need buyers more than sellers.  Sellers they care nothing about.

@wastingtime101

That’s a listing violation right there.

This isn’t the old days - sellers haven’t been allowed to play coy with what they’re selling for a decade or more.

Wish some on this thread would read the info slowly coming to light, instead of auto-accusing the buyer of scamming.

Hmmmmmmm…..could this type of attitude have ANY connection to EBay’s increasing protections for buyers? I wonder….

There are better ways to do that, rather than validating poor business choices and a lack of knowledge regarding the very site one conducts business on.

It’s a kindness that harms rather than helps.

And confuses the very lurkers you want to help. They can’t parse the situation the way you present it.

I believe you are reading more into my post than was intended. I did not validate her choices through a six-word sentence of kindness. I did not say she was right and the other posters were wrong. Others had already set her straight and i did not need to add a redundant voice to the chorus. I offered her more information. It was neutral, not agreeing nor disagreeing.
