Did you mean:

Refunds

Do you think it's fair that I as a seller have to give a refund because a buyer lied and said an item I listed didn't match description or photo?? Ebay did not even give me a chance to dispute the claim. I DID NOT list it wrong and the photo matched description. I am so mad right now because it is not fair!! I sent a message telling Ebay the buyer was lying, all they had to do was look at my listing but apparently sellers don't matter any longer! This will be my last words on ebay, I will not sell or buy another thing from heartless millionaires that don't care about their sellers!! I am just sick to my stomach about this mess!!!!

Re: Refunds

Wanda, so sorry this happened to you. You can appeal eBay’s decision. You have 30 days to do this. Below is a link to the appeal policy. Good luck.

Re: Refunds

How do they know you sent what was in the pictures? ESP to see in the package?

Moreover, you fought the claim. You lost your money and the item because you aren’t up on EBay policies.

Was it worth refusing the return and refund?

Why would you even validate and encourage this?

It’s like Giuliani telling Trump to sue in court.

Re: Refunds

Even if you have a No Returns policy, you do not have a No Refunds policy.

Even if you have a No Returns policy, you can demand the return of the disputed item before refunding, but you will probably have to pay for return shipping.

If the buyer does not return the item, you do not have to refund.

So your listing states you bought the ninja parts from someone and they did not fit your Ninja.....so when your Buyer tells you they do not fit theirs and they are mis-identified.......

Good catch. So she sold Ninja parts that don't fit a Ninja and said they were for a Ninja.

Re: Refunds

I say it every time in almost every situation...get a callback from eBay and talk to someone.  You won't get anywhere using the online methods.  I honestly think they are dummy switches that make you think you are doing something when in reality you are just typing a note to no one.  To get a callback go to Contact us, Fees and billing, update your checking account for payouts.  it works every time.  $10 nothing?  Well when you are cheated, sometimes it feels like a lot.  No reason to let buyers abuse you.

Re: Refunds

Wanda, I can relate to your situation. For my first 10 yrs. on e-Bay, I was in partners with my cousin and our agreement was that I did not want to hear about her sales. After her death in 2013 and until now, it has been a situation that only my 59 yrs. of discipline,  through self-employment, have enabled me to remain and accept e-Bay's business model.  I think I have arrived, at least until the next problem rears its ugly head and I am certain there will be another.

My suggestion is to allow a few days to pass before "throwing in the towel" and losing 1117 feedback comments.

Re: Refunds

If you are, in fact, upset about the "ninja" blades:   Just for giggles, I spent the last 10 minutes looking at these parts for Ninja food processors and all the ones I saw were black in color, not grey like the ones you sold.   Unless they say "NINJA" on them, I'm thinking maybe they're not Ninja -- and that's why they didn''t fit your machine or the buyer's.

I know that's all irrelevant, since you're leaving heartless eBay for good, and have already spoken your last word here, but I was in the mood to post.

Anyhow, farewell and happy trails, wherever they lead you.

How did the buyer abuse the OP ? The Ninja parts did not fit the buyer's Ninja.

Hi, @this*old*attic Because she is an upset fellow seller and many people read the boards that might benefit from knowing the appeals process is available to those unhappy with the outcome of a Money Back Guarantee case.

Come on - spend an hour on a call with eBay for $10?  OP sold blades for a Ninja that won’t fit.  She wasn’t cheated.

There are better ways to do that, rather than validating poor business choices and a lack of knowledge regarding the very site one conducts business on.

It’s a kindness that harms rather than helps.

And confuses the very lurkers you want to help. They can’t parse the situation the way you present it.

Re: Refunds

At least one of those blades is rusty.

"I don't have my box and don't  know the number on my Ninja."

I assume you're still looking for blades since these didn't fit your unit. You can get the model number of your Ninja by turning it over and looking at the bottom.

Re: Refunds

Unfortunately, there really aren't any protections from buyers who make false return claims on eBay.  Whenever a buyer claims not as described the only real option is to accept the return and issue a return label if you want your item back.  Last month I had a buyer who requested a return for "Not as Described" because the item wasn't new  even though it was advertised as preowned.   The only consolation was eBay credited me $6.00 for the return shipping label because I reported the buyer for misusing eBay's return policy.  However,  eBay was able to make this determination as this was a clear case of the buying lying because in fact it was accurately described.
