Hi
My buyer won my auction just as the auction closed on a first bid.
I was selling a bundle and I had stated on ebay that as 3 parts were damaged "within an inch of their life"
(photographed separately from the big bundle) I would only include these if buyer requested as it would add to postage costs, would soon need replacing and asked the buyer to contact me. She paid then contacted me and asked me to send the parcel straight away as she was going on holiday in a weeks time. She said she didn't want the damaged bits.
I sent the parcel within the hour and tracking details to her. The following day she contacted me and asked if all of the items had been sent. I replied to say that I had not included the damaged items. She said she only meant she didn't want 2 of the 3 so I offered to send the bit she wanted free but requested postage from her. She then opened a return saying item received was not as described. Two days later I received an email from parcel2go to say the parcel had been delivered to household. Two days after that I received an email asking where her parcel was so I contacted Parcel2go who said it was delivered to household and sent me a screen shot of the signature which I forwarded to the buyer who denies it is hers. Ebay responded to her case by aking her to return the goods, but she didn't respond to that- only to me nearly every day asking for a refund, saying I could get my money back with an insurance claim from parcel2go as the parcel was fully covered. So I logged a claim. Ebay closed the case after the deadline. The same day she opened a case against me with paypal for a non received item, and they concluded that from all the evidence she had the parcel and closed it. Within minutes opened an appeal on the grounds that the items she had received were not as described and paypal rejected her claim and told me not to refund until I have received the return. She immediately sent me an email saying if I didn't refund she will take me to the small claims court which as an autistic person this is very frightening. Parcel2 are still investigating the claim and want a screenshot of her official signature but she wont send it. Does anyone have any advice on how I can end this, please? I am very upset.

I would simply ignore her at this point. And put her on your blocked bidder list. She’s exhausted her options with eBay and PayPal. All that’s left is a credit card chargeback and small claims. There’s really no reason to respond to her.

What a headache. Anyway, it sounds like you did everything right and there’s nothing more to do. Block her and stop responding to her. You can cancel your claim with parcel2go because you didn’t have to refund your buyer.

You'd be better of posting on a ebay UK chatboard this is USA and different postage rules apply to different countries...

She’s already filed with eBay and PayPal and lost. The postage rules are the same in the UK as they are in the US, as far as eBay and PayPal goes.

Beats me I'm not versed in UK laws and they'd be better off dealing with someone in their own country who knows the ins and outs as to buyers and sellers rights in a court case..
